Disaster Recovery Projects
Riverside Fire Hazard Tree Removal
SUU is currently working on the final stages of a 24 mile long Hazard Tree removal project along Oregon’s Scenic Highway 224 located out of Estacada, Oregon. The steep cliffs, river location, and wild and scenic locations created quite a challenge. Thousands of trees were removed to protect the traveling public and thousands of yards of chips were used as erosion control to help bring back the highly burned areas along the corridor.
