In September 2020, an enormous fire ripped through the Santiam Valley in Marion and Linn County in the State of Oregon. Within the fire boundary was 40 miles of Highway 22 that connects Salem, OR to Bend, OR and has an average daily travel of 6,500 cars per day. Suulutaaq Inc was requested to take over the contract of the Hazard Tree Removal in July of 2021.
Suulutaaq Inc is estimated to remove nearly 20,000 hazard trees, spread nearly 10,000 cubic yards of wood chips, and clean up over 40 miles of hazards along this highway. This includes traffic control, erosion control, and many other miscellaneous items.

- Remove 20,000 Hazard Trees
- Control traffic with 6 different work zone in a 40-mile stretch.
- Remove 3,000 previously feel trees
